What is Sexual Harassment?
It is unlawful to harass a person (an applicant or employee) because of that person's sex. Harassment can include sexual harassment or unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature.
Harassment does not have to be of a sexual nature, however, and can include offensive remarks about a person's sex. For example, it is illegal to harass a woman by making offensive comments about women in general.
Both victim and the harasser can be either a woman or a man, and the victim and harasser can be the same sex.
Although the law doesn't prohibit simple teasing, offhand comments, or isolated incidents that are not very serious, harassment is illegal when it is so frequent or severe that it creates a hostile or offensive work environment or when it results in an adverse employment decision (such as the victim being fired or demoted).
The harasser can be the victim's supervisor, a supervisor in another area, a co-worker, or someone who is not an employee of the employer, such as a client or customer.
What is sexual harassment in the workplace?
It is behavior that is bothersome, irritating, demeaning, and annoying. Sexual harassment is harassment of a sexual nature. But it can be more! It is against the law! It can lead to substantial and embarrassing court fines and significant payments to an injured party. It can mean reduced productivity. It can be measured in lower stock value. It can be a hostile work environment. It is wrong.
A few questions you may want to ask yourself are:
What is my companies sexual harassment policy? What is sexual harassment law? What are some sexual harassment statistics? What is my definition of sexual harassment? What is sexual harassment in the work place? How much money would my company be willing to pay to settle a sexual harassment law suit? How do I prevent sexual harassment from happening?
Knowing how to prevent occurrences of sexual harassment and discriminatory behavior is critical in today's world.
In our Sexual Harassment Awareness training seminars your employees will learn and apply the important skills of handling sexual harassment issues and complaints. This hands on seminar thoroughly addresses the elements of how to prevent unacceptable behavior. The seminar includes a detailed overview of what sexual harassment is, explains legal definitions, discusses sexual harassment prevention, and shows how to handle sexual harassment complaints and maintain a positive work environment.
Participants will learn to take action and diffuse potential sexual harassment issues before they occur. Our sexual harassment awareness seminars are highly participatory and focus directly on improving skills to handle any sexual harassment issue or complaint with greater confidence.

Las Vegas
Las Vegas is perhaps the ultimate man-made tourism attraction on earth. This city is no longer just a center for gambling, though its numerous casinos keep getting better and better. Las Vegas is also home to many attractions that are of appeal to all. While there, visit the awe-inspiring Hoover Dam and go for a hike at Red Rock Canyon.

Carson City
Prior to 1969, Carson City was a part of Ormsby County. In 1969 Ormsby County was merged into Carson City to consolidate government services. Carson City is a consolidated municipality. There are now nine state capitals with smaller populations than Carson City, and in fact, with its area of 143.5 square miles, Carson City can now advertise itself as one of the largest state capitals in America!

Reno
Nevada's "other" gambling and resort town, Reno is located in the western part of the state near the California border. What the city lacks in glitz or reputation it more than makes up for in attractions and amenities. There are first-rate hotels, golf courses and casinos to rival its southern counterpart and, also like Las Vegas, Reno has become a popular destination for families.
