Gary J. Benson: Denver Lawyer
Mr. Benson received his B.A. Degree from Beloit College
in 1987 and a J.D. Degree from the University of Denver,
College of Law, in 1990. Mr. Benson advises and counsels
numerous businesses on their employment practices and
procedures. He has litigated Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and ERISA
matters as well as commercial business disputes, including
real estate, mining, professional fee/commission disputes
and securities actions. Mr. Benson is a frequent lecturer on
issues surrounding employment law, and has presented
Colorado Bar Association accredited CLE courses on sexual
harassment and gender discrimination issues in the
workplace. Based on his employment law experience, Mr.
Benson is the preferred CLE Panel lecturer for the Colorado
Court of Appeals. Mr. Benson practiced in the Commercial
Litigation Department of Pryor, Carney & Johnson, P.C.,
until August 1995 when Mr. Benson joined the firm of Dworkin,
Chambers & Williams, P.C. as a principal. Mr. Benson
served as a member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers
of Metro Denver, Inc. Mr. Benson is admitted to practice
before the U.S. Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit and is a
member of the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar
Association, and Denver Bar Association.

related state law claims including workers’ compensation).

to litigation, I advise businesses on employment practices,

extensive experience representing businesses in various
administrative matters before state and federal government

Division. I also have extensive litigation experience in
